Near the town of Pazin, in the interior of Istria is the town with the picturesque name - Sveti Petar u Sumi (St.Peter in the woods). This place is located 12km from Pazin and 25km from Porec and the sea. It is surrounded by green hills, which are very typical for the gentle Istrian landscape and the surrounding valleys. There are cycle paths and marked trails for walkers and mountain walkers. Nearby there is a riding center with beautiful horses. Only 10 minutes by car are Pazin and its famous cave. Sv. Peter is a picturesque example of a place with a rich past with its Benedictine monastery from the early Renaissance period and its harmonious baroque buildings. But it does not only offer cultural facilities, but it also has an excellent gastronomic offer, in the surrounding country farms, where you can taste the traditional Istrian cuisine and the wine of the Istrian vineyards.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Olea. Mit liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlt dem Haus an nichts. Drei wunderschöne Zimmer mit Bad.Extra Toilette,sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und alles klimatisiert. Der Pool mit der Terrasse Mega. Die Vermieter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Von der Lage her alles mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Sehr schöne Umgebung.
Dear Natalia, dear Filip, thank you so much for having us. Starting from your warm welcome to our departure we had an outstanding time at your lovely home. Your house is just perfect. When the weather is good you can spend your time in the pool, if the weather is bad you can spend your time in a lovely house. You'll have everything you need to even cook fancy dinner, you have a big fridge, can play table tennis or watch TV. Natalia sent us some recommondations for restaurants and other things. Yes you can cook anything you want but for heaven's sake visit Pizzeria Ulika in Zminj and Konoba Doma in Sveti Petar u Sumi. You can visit Porec or Rovinj within about 30 minutes. Dear Natalia, dear Filip, we have visited a lot of places and met a lot of lovely people but we have and probably will never meet such caring, endearing and warmhearted people as you. Absolutely beautiful house in the middle of Istria with bathrooms for each room, super modern and cozy interior and a stunning pool. The town is also a great starting point to explore coast cities like Poreč, Rovinj, Pula or Rabac within a 25 - 40 minute drive. Everything was perfectly clean at our arrival.
