Originally an old farmhouse, Villa Marion was completely renovated in 2024. The focus was on incorporating natural materials from the original house to preserve the historic character and traditional look of the area. Much of the work was carried out by the family themselves, and the carpentry and furniture were handmade by local craftsmen. The villa features a 50 m2 private pool, suitable for relaxation or a refreshing dip, complemented by comfortable sunbeds and an large garden. Additionally, there is a well-equipped summer kitchen with a grill, perfect for family meals and barbecue nights.

The interior of Villa Marion is truly impressive. In the main part of the house, on the ground floor, there is a spacious living room and dining room together with a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a large gallery where you will find a library on one side, and entrance to a spacious bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom, on the other side.

In another part of the house, on the ground floor, there is one large bedroom with two single beds, a sofa bed and a private bathroom. The first floor comprises two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom; one bedroom contains two single beds, while the other has a double bed. On the first floor is also a small kitchen with exit to a large terrace overlooking the yard.

The second floor includes a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a private bathroom, and a large terrace offering sea view.

In villa Marion max 2 well-behaved pets are welcome free of charge.

Ein absoluter Traumurlaub in der Villa Marion! Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Villa Marion in Smolici/Istrien verbracht und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Villa ist nicht nur architektonisch ein Highlight, sondern auch mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – modern, stilvoll und gleichzeitig unglaublich gemütlich. Es fehlt an nichts! Besonders beeindruckend: Ante und seine Familie haben die Villa mit viel Herzblut selbst restauriert – das spürt man in jedem Winkel. Alles ist hochwertig, geschmackvoll und durchdacht. Die Kommunikation mit Ante war von Anfang an hervorragend. Er war jederzeit erreichbar, herzlich, hilfsbereit und hat unseren Aufenthalt mit vielen kleinen Extras besonders gemacht: eine spontane Weinprobe im Dorf, frische Eier direkt vom Bauern, hochwertiges Olivenöl bis vor die Haustür geliefert – all das zeigt, mit wie viel Engagement er sich um seine Gäste kümmert. Auch bei der Organisation eines Bootsausflugs von Poreč sowie mit zahlreichen Tipps zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (z. B. Metzger, Bäcker im nahegelegenen Višnjan) stand er uns zur Seite. Ein weiteres Highlight: Der Bäcker kommt dienstags, donnerstags und samstags direkt bis vor die Haustüre – Vorbestellungen sind möglich, und das frische Butterbrot ist ein absoluter Genuss! Ganz neu im Außenbereich ist ein traditioneller Holzbackofen, den wir ausprobieren durften – unser selbst gebackenes Baguette war fantastisch und hat den Urlaub noch besonderer gemacht. Die Villa selbst bietet reichlich Platz – wir waren 7 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und ein Hund – und dennoch hatte jeder sein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad. Die großzügigen Esstische, der gepflegte Garten und die hochwertige Ausstattung lassen wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit und kommen ganz sicher wieder. Wer Ruhe, Komfort und authentische Gastfreundschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Vielen herzlichen Dank, lieber Ante, für alles – du hast unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht!

Wir sind mit drei Familien mit - schon erwachsenen - Kindern mit einer Mischung aus Vorfreude und Anspannung bei der Villa Marion angekommen. Vorfreude, weil die Bilder im Internet so unglaublich schön und vielversprechend waren. Anspannung, weil wir befürchtet haben, dass der Schein der Bilder trügen könnte. Aber das Gegenteil war der Fall. Die Bilder zeigen sehr genau den architektonischen Ideenreichtum, die kluge und liebevolle Gestaltung der Räume bis ins kleinste Detail, den herrlichen, genussvollen Außenbereich mit großem Swimming-Pool und oft benutzter Außenküche. Was man auf den Fotos aber nicht sehen kann, ist die gute Energie, der liebevolle Geist und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, die Ante und seine Familie dem Haus eingeimpft haben und in der persönlichen Begegnung stets zeigten. Kein Wunder also, dass wir uns eine Woche lang sehr wohl gefühlt haben und die Zeit dort, das Kochen und Essen, das Spielen, das Schwimmen, das Relaxen, einfach alles – in vollen Zügen genossen haben. So sehr, dass viel weniger in Istrien unternommen haben, als wir ursprünglich vorhatten. Es war wirklich schwer, die Villa Marion zu verlassen. Nochmals ein großer Dank an Ante und seine Familie für ihre Freundlichkeit und Großzügigkeit.

Une villa magnifique, on peut très clairement se fier au nombreuses photos de l’annonce! Vous ne serez pas déçu!!! Les hôtes sont super accueillant et expliquent parfaitement le fonctionnement des divers dispositifs et la gestion des déchets… Très propre, beau, et vraiment bien entretenu piscine jardin etc Vraiment une excellente expérience!
