Offering a good base from which to explore this unspoilt region, this beautiful villa is immersed in the glorious rolling Istrian countryside yet only a stone's throw away from the emerald-blue waters and secluded natural beaches of the Adriatic. Just a few kilometres from the villa lies the quaint medieval town of Barban, known for its annual ancient cavalry game “The Race of the Ring”. A unique horse ranch offering trekking and horseback riding is located in the nearby village of Manjadvorci. Thrill-seekers will benefit from a large adrenaline park at a mere 7 km from the villa, a diving centre at the beautiful, small bay of Krnica (10 min drive away), as well as the proximity of various hiking and biking trails. A great choice of cuisine, using delicious local produce, means you'll never have to go far to find a superb meal and you can also buy groceries directly from the local producers. To add the final ingredient to this rich variety of activities, the historic town of Pula and the vivid tourist hot spots are at a short driving distance, as well as the ferries for a tour to the stunningly beautiful surrounding islands.

Wir haben mit 5 Personen und einem Hund unseren zweiwöchigen Urlaub sehr genossen. Ein paar Ausbesserungsarbeiten würden der Villa Kata sicher gut tun um noch attraktiver zu sein. Die Leiter des Pools hebt sich aus der Ankerung. Hier sollte nachgebessert werden. Ebenso sind beide Sonnenschirme defekt und lassen sich nicht mehr feststellen, was bei einem leichten Windzug dazu führt, daß kein Schatten vorhanden ist. Auch wären grundsätzlich mehr Schirme von Vorteil. Ansonsten haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt und planen nächstes Jahr wieder zu kommen.August 2024.
Wir reisten mit 5 Personen (3 Erwachse + 2 Kinder (16+12) an und als Willkommensgeschenk gab es eine Flasche Wein :). Das Haus war für uns perfekt, es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden, was man braucht, auch wenn man Fragen hatte, war stets Barbara (AP für den gesamten Urlaubsaufenthalt) immer standby, nochmal ein dickes Dankeschön an Barabara und ihrem Kollegen! Der schöne große Pool war Mega für die heißen Sommertage, wir hatten alle unseren Spaß. Auf dem großen Grundstück befindet sich eine Tischtennisplatte sowie Schaukeln mit Rutsche und Trampolin für die Kleinen. Man hat hier seine Privatsphäre, alles ruhig um einen herum. Der nächstgelegende Naturstrand ist mit dem Auto in ca. 6 Minuten zu erreichen, wenn man einen Sandstrand möchte, muss man nach Medulin, ca. 40 min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir Persönlich fanden die Strände mit Felsen viel schöner (Badeschuhe zu empfehlen), das Meer ist Kristallklar, einfach Traumhaft. Wir hatten mehrer Strände besucht die von Rebici ca. 30-50 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Einen Ausflug zur Insel Krk ist auch zu empehlen die in ca. 2 Stunden zu erreichen ist. Wenn man Einkaufen möchte, gibt es Lidl, Kaufland und die kroatischen Suppermärkte, diese sind in ca. 35 min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Restaurants findet man in ca. 10 min. mit dem Auto, wir empfehlen das Restaurant "Luna", dort gibt es Pizza, Pasta, Fischgerichte für einen angemessenen Preis. Die Stadt Pula muss man auch gesehen haben, diese ist in ca. 40 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen, wir liebten es, die kleine Altstadt mit Ihren kleinen Gassen, bietet Shopping, Restaurants, und Unterhaltung. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der "Villa Kata" und kommen gerne wieder :))) Britta 08/2024
