Jurasi are a small village near Tinjan. The town of Istrian ham (Pršut) Tinjan is a small town in the interior of Istria, on the road that connects Poreč with Pazin. Poreč is only 20 km away, and the nearest beaches are Zelena and Plava Laguna. Porec is a tourist destination, known for its cultural events, bars, restaurants, sports facilities and beautiful beaches. East of Tinjan is Pazin, the main administrative center of the Istrian County, known for its medieval castle Kaštel, the National Archives and the Zarečko roof - also known as the Pazin beach.
