Villa Ambrosiana is located in Galižana near Pula and is the perfect holiday home in Istria. It is only a few minutes away by car from the larger city of Pula and the smaller town of Vodnjan, and guests are guaranteed complete privacy. The beaches are only 5 km away by car. So, if you want an urban environment, summer concerts and many gastronomic events are all very close, and if you still want to enjoy privacy, Villa Ambrosiana guarantees you a peaceful environment. The house offers accommodation for 6 people, the interior exudes warmth and home and is fully equipped with everything necessary for a perfect vacation. Is also available a well-decorated tavern which simply invites you to socialize with friends and family. When the winter days come, you can spend long evenings in the tavern or celebrate Christmas and New Year in a perfect environment. Guests are offered swimming or a trip around the Brijuni Islands with a small private boat. One well behaved dog is welcome with an extra cleaning charge of 50 Euros per week.
Galižana or Gallesano is a place that’s continuously inhabited since the prehistoric times. It is rich in archeological findings, mainly from antiquity, part of which are displayed in the Archeological Museum of Istria in Pula. People of Galižana are mainly engaged in traditional agriculture; therefore this is the place of splendid wine and the best olive oil in Istria. There’s another peculiarity of the residents of Galižana, the continuity of the old native dialect and folk customs. The most interesting monuments of Galižana are sacral, dating from the middle ages, and the oldest one is the 9th century church of St. Just.
