Zlatni rat is a nature reserve, with old pine trees that provide plenty of shade. The beach is 500 meters long and is ideal for families with children. Since Zlatni rat is a popular place for surfers and kitesurfers, you will find athletes from all over the world.

 

Banje, Dubrovnik

Banje is the nearest beach in Dubrovnik and also one of the most famous in Dalmatia. The beach can be visited directly from the old town by a staircase down to the beach. As a result, the beach is unfortunately not accessible for people with a disability. From the beach you have a wonderful view of the old Dubrovnik and the beautiful uninhabited island Lokrum. Banje, is equipped with showers, changing rooms, deckchairs and parasols. Ideal for families with children. Water sports such as jet skiing and paragliding are very popular on this beach!

 

Kraljičina plaža, Nin

Kašjuni, Split

Saplunara, Mljet

Saplunara beach is a sandy beach in the southeast of the island of Mljet. The beach as well as the surrounding area is a nature reserve. The beach is surrounded by a pine forest. Since the water is shallow, Saplunara is great for children. 

In the nearby Blace Bay there is another sandy beach that looks like a crystal clear lagoon. A fantastic place to spend some quiet days by the sea, undisturbed. Alone the lagoon is a must if you are in Dalmatia. 

 

Hvar

Like Banje beach is one of the best in Dalmatia. The beach is located in a sheltered bay and is particularly suitable for families with children. But divers also go to Hvar every year to explore the underwater world. It should be noted, however, that the beach is not very easily accessible. It's a difficult walk, along a rough road. However, the beach is so fascinating that the way to get there is definitely worth it. Nearby there is also a restaurant where you can get to know the traditional Dalmatian specialties.

 

Raduča, Primošten

Raduča beach is always a popular tourist destination. Raduča is the beach for locals and tourists alike. It is best to come early in the morning to really find a place. This beach is particularly suitable for families with children as well as elderly or infirm people. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy tennis, volleyball, badminton and many other activities. Also for a refreshment on hot days is taken care of. On the beach there is a restaurant where you can taste delicious drinks as well as the Dalmatian cuisine. 

 

Stiniva, Vis

Over the last few years, Stiniva has earned the reputation of being the best beach in Europe. To reach Stiniva is only by a steep path and then with a taxi boat. The beach is located on a breathtaking, secluded sea access with crystal blue waters. Stiniva is located in the southern part of the island and is surrounded by high cliffs that provide the necessary shade on hot days. However, umbrellas can be brought along, but it is not really necessary as the rocks provide enough shade. The beach is 35 meters long and a perfect place for those who want to enjoy the undisturbed nature. Since the access is rather difficult, this beach is not suitable for older or infirm people.
